United Nation’s International Day of Education January 24th 2020

Today being the 24th day of January, 2020, we at Shola Mese Foundation visited Ugborikoko Primary School and Alders Town Primary (Special Students) School to observe United Nation’s Day of Education. We were received by both the Head Teachers of the said schools during their assembly period.


As part of Goal 4 of the Sustainable Developmental Goals to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Shola Mese Foundation has tagged this day “Back to School Project” as the Founder, Dcn. Shola Mese distributed Exercise Books to about a thousand pupils in both schools.

The Pupils were excited and very happy that the Foundation thought it wise to mark International Day of Education in their school.

At Ugborikoko Primary School, the Head Teacher explained to the Founder about their failed Bore-hole Water machine that has stopped functioning while at Alders Town Primary School, it was a case of setting up a skill acquisition centre to give access to the intell
